Representatives from the Lae City Authority (LCA), Theodist, WAFI-GOLPU Joint Venture and SOLTRA recently paid a courtesy visit to Manolos Aviation in Lae, last Thursday.

The visit followed a similar engagement the previous day, when officials from the Australian Consulate also paid a visit to Manolos Aviation last Wednesday.
The visit provided an opportunity for the visiting delegation to gain first-hand insight into Manolos Aviation’s operations, facilities and aircraft capabilities, including its critical role in aeromedical evacuations, charter services and support for development and infrastructure projects across the country.
Discussions focused on the importance of reliable aviation services in supporting urban development, resource projects, logistics, and timely medical evacuations; particularly for remote and hard-to-reach communities.
Manolos Aviation and it's Non- Government Organization (NGO) MAMA Foundation shared its operational experience, safety standards, and ongoing commitment to supporting both public and private sector partners.
The delegation acknowledged Manolos Aviation’s, NGO arm - MAMA Foundation’s contribution to national development and emergency response, noting the vital role aviation plays in connecting communities, supporting major projects, and strengthening service delivery in Morobe and beyond.
The visit concluded with a tour of Manolos Aviation’s facilities and aircraft, highlighting opportunities for continued collaboration and partnership in support of economic growth, community wellbeing, and improved access to essential services.
